My grandma might be coming with us to Disney this year, but she can’t walk very well. We have a wheelchair for her, but she would like to rent one of the motorized scooters/wheelchairs there. The only problem with this idea is that she wouldn’t be able to walk to the bus at our resort or to the front of the park without the regular wheelchair. Does anyone know if Disney will hold our wheelchair while she uses the motorized one? Also, is there anyway to rent a motorized one at the Disney resort you are staying at that could be taken to the parks? Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the disABILITIES FAQs thread near the top of this board.
There is information about renting ECV (they are different than motorized wheelchairs) at the parks and from off-site places that will deliver to your resort.

:welcome: to disABILITIES!
I would suggest you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information, including where people rent ECVs.
The locations in the parks which rent the ECVs will store a personal wheelchair for you. However, you are probably much better off (from both a price and quality standpoint) to rent an ECV for length of stay from an outside vendor that renting from Disney on a daily basis.
