Hi!
I'm traveling from the UK to Disney on the following dates. I know different states take vacation at different times, but are any of these dates likely to be particularly busy or particularly quiet??
1 week - June 24th
1 week - July 16th
3 weeks - Oct 22nd
Thanks Guys!
Jo x :)

Almost all schools in the country are out of school during your June and July dates. Expect the parks to be hot and crowded, but not exceptionally so (no holidays during those times). The end of the June week will be getting busy as people travel for the fourth of July holiday week.
Almost all schools will be in session during October, with the exception of certain year-round schools and schools that have a fall break. The end of that three week period will probably be Jersey Week, which is usually between Election Day (first Tuesday after the first Monday in November) and Veteran's Day (observed Friday, November 9, 2007). That week can get pretty busy as many people take the week off and head to Disney!
October generally has moderate attendance unless there is a great promotion running - it is considered regular season, not value. The weather is better, although it is still hurricane season!
Hope this helps!

Well like just stated, schools usually get out mid way to the end of june. But it wont be as busy in the park then as it probably will be in July, as thats gonna be the start of the summer peak season.
October will proabably be the same as about the end of June. The haunted mansion will have its holiday overlay and the park will be in full swing all decorated for the Halloween season. During this time (Mid to the end of Oct) though there are halloween trick or treat nights that you can look into where you can take your little ones who are all dressed up and have them go trick or treating in the park etc. Its a huge attraction and those days might be a bit busier then the non halloween trick or treat days. So I would look into that to see what days the T or T events are on. All in all Oct is a really good time to go. Great weather and everything.

Thanks for your replies, so helpful as usual :goodvibes .
We did actually do the MNNSHP last year, but we were there early October. We are booked in on the 25th Oct for this years MNNSHP, cant wait. The middle week is a cruise so really that just leaves first week of November.

I have just moved to a place that has "traditional" schools, so our area is out the normal June, July and Aug. I miss year round schools and being off when the rest of the world is in school, but, it can't be helped.
Your Oct. date is your best bet. We love going in Oct.

Here in Minnesota we have break at all those times, but most of the other states are in session during October. It would be your best bet not only crowd wise but also weather wise. Being from England you would be much more comfortable. I have been in England even on what would be considered a really hot day and it doesn't even come close to Florida in summer.

I agree with this. I'm from southeast Georgia and we're out June and July. I've been to Disney in October and it was awesome. It was warm enough to swim but cool enough that the heat wasn't overwhelming. You'll have a great time!!!
Enjoy!
