I know you can use foil to sharpen your punches, but can you also use it on blades? My CM 12" cutter has worn itself out cutting all the bazzill for swaps and is cutting a little ragged now. I can buy replacement blades, but I'm not putting an order in for at least 2 weeks and I'd like to give them a bit of edge in the meantime.:goodvibes

sand paper might work too. Just cut a few pieces with your trimmer.

I can't remember if you can or not but if you go over to scrapshare.com, I am sure they can answer that question. It is a scrapbooking message board like here but mostly creative memories and other scrapbooking companies.
Hope this helps.

Thanks all. The blades come in a pack of two for £8.40 - I bet they're cheaper over there!
Replacement blades for the 12" trimmers are sold here in the States for 2/$9.50, Mazda.

At current exchange rate that's less than £5. Remind me again why I live in the UK?:lmao:
