Are these the only dates they are having it, or just the dates that are available for AP discounts? I haven't been, I read about it last year, but I don't remember the dates.:confused3

I see prices went up $5 from last year. They were $19 for AP holders and $29 for the general public.

Not surprised, they asked that question in the survey last year.

When we visited at this last year, I was entered to do a survey for them about the party. They asked about value of the event and if the price was increased to $25 whether or not we would still attend. And whether the value would still be considered good at a higher price. I think the price issue came up in the survey 3 or 4 times.

It's more geared towards kids, with all of the candy stations and crafts and character greeting opportunities, but my husband and I (no kids) have gone the last two years and had a good time. Most of the rides are open, and adults can dress in costume and get candy, too. And the park is nicely decorated, with Halloween music playing. We enjoyed seeing all the adults in costume - there was some really good ones, though mostly we saw pirates, pirates, and more pirates.

Thanks ScooterL!
We're going to be staying at the GCH Oct. 5 & 6 and the Halloween treat sounds like fun. It's been so long since I've gotten to ride Screamin' at night. pirate:

No, no, it's not only for AP holders. However, AP's get first stab at the tickets. They will open it up to the general public at a later date.

Would my 2yo DD need a ticket also, or is it free for children under 3 like DL?
We've never been but would love to go this year.
Thanks for posting this info!

Oh. my. goodness. I am jumping up and down here:yay: 'cause one of the dates coincides with our vacation!!! I wonder if they will let Disney Visa card holders do an advanced purchase also or just AP holders?

2 and under are free!
Disney Visa and AP Holders get first dibs, before the tickets go on sale to the general public. I am HOPING that they add dates for our trip like they did last year at the very last minute... I looked at all of our options and I can't move our trip so we'll have to go without unless they add dates...

MHT was so much fun last year, I'm trying to figure out a way to take the kids again this year, even though we are going to WDW in March 2008. I'm hoping that the on site resorts run their stay 3 get 4th night free promo for fall again.

I should have asked, where do we get these advanced tickets? Is there a number that we call? Or can we purchase them online?

How did you find that out? I'm trying to confirm that but the Disney Visa site doesn't mention anything about the party?:confused3 Why does it seem so hard to find info about events at Disneyland? Sometimes I get frustrated!

I am wondering about this too? I'm not ready to make plans right now since I just got back. We upgraded while we were there so I can buy tickets if I have to, but planning time would come in handy. How hard is it to get tickets later?
Also, what days are better to go. Are crowds an issue? What about Oct 31 - super crowded? Halloween is our families national holiday! We always do a haunted house but are moving this summer so MHT would take away the sting.
Thanks! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 We went on Oct. 31st last year, and it was fabulous. I'm really hoping to be able to go again this year. As for tickets selling out I know the 31st did eventually sell out, but I also know that I was still able to purchase tickets on Labor Day.
