MD/DC/VA Mini Meet

I have spoken to two or three people recently from the Maryland/DC/Virginia area. We are thinking of getting together soon for a meet-and-greet. Wanted to post on here and make sure we're not missing anyone who may be interested. Plus, as it turns out, several of us have independantly planned a WDW trip in September. If I don't make friends fast it'll be a solo trip for me and I would definitely like some people to hang out with. :thumbsup2

I already talked to you too, but I'm in (and so is skeleton_pirate). NoVa or DC is probably best for us, and weekend/Friday night for sure.

Of course :) Driving in the district is never an accepetable solution. My personal vote is for Brickskeller.

Wahoo! I was just getting on here to suggest Friday or Saturday when I see that lillielil beat me to it. I love not having organizer responsibility :)

Either would be fine by me. I would prefer Friday night but can go with the flow. However... I am a social misfit and no good in public. What kind of place is Brickseller? And do you all promise to be nice and hold my hand if I get scared? :rolleyes:

Brickskeller is a pub-type place. I'm not into clubs, and prefer to sit and drink. It has typical bar food and the largest selection of beer pretty much anywhere (which makes it a good warm-up for the Epcot crawl I intend to do in a few months). It's in Dupont (sort of... close to it, anyway), which is pretty easy to get to. There are a few parking garages around for those who don't metro.

I'm fine with Friday too. I don't mind being the organizer if that means that this actually happens!

Well... Saturday would be better for me then friday... but as long as it isn't too early friday (or you guys stay late enough) I should be able to make it... where exactly is this place? never been there before >_< what metro station should I get off at and how do I get there from it?
