i need help because i don't know what color to paint my room and because summer is coming up and i am entering highschool and i want something new.

I was going to paint mine a spring green. I love green! But I was getting tired of the colour, so I"m painting it an off-white..

We just moved so I painted mine orange. I contemplated stripes or a single broad stripe across but I'd probably not make it straight enough for my OCD and it would just piss me off.
And yeah, I threw in some VERY hidden mickeys in there. Because I'm cool like that.
You could always paint it alien green...

Paint ONE wall Dark Forest Green. It will make the room seem larger and elegant. The other walls should be an off-white-beige-egg-shell. IMHO.

do something that suits you. are you passionate, artistic, imaginative? try full, rich colors like burgundy, golds, oranges, deep greens and blues. what about sweet, gentle, innocent and friendly? try light purples, greens, pinks, blues, things that are pastel and fluffy. what if youre loud and rebellious? bright reds, blues, shocking greens and yellows. do a combination of two..maybe three. whatever strikes you as who you are.

Go to homedepot, look at the paint chips, and pick out whatever you want. You're young, this isn't a lifetime decision.
When I was 11 I painted my walls babyblue and yellow. I'm so sick of it right now, I want something more mature, but really it's just a wall color.

HAHAHA. I'm sorry, that was so clever it made me laugh out loud. You sound like a walking talking paint commercial. :happytv: It's great!

Any dark or rich color really would work with that.
Another plus of doing that too, is that if you decide you don't like the color, you just need to re-paint one wall.:thumbsup2 Oh and another painting tip. Put down a nice white basecoat. It'll make your colors you put on top of it really pop.

I painted my room lime green a couple of years ago & I haven't gotten sick of it yet. My room is so small that I needed to go with a bright color to make it seem bigger. I tried bright orange...yeah that work for about a year or so ;) WOO! It eventually gave me a headache!
But I really like my green now & a lot of colors seem to go well w/ it. I have an awesome border at the top that's kind of tie dyed that I love too! This way any other color I choose matched the border too! :thumbsup2
