Vero Beach in November?

What is the weather like? I know it's at the tail end of hurricane season, which could be iffy, but we are looking to do something different this year. We've never been to Vero Beach. It looks really nice, but all our experience is at DW. We would be going the first full week of November, so it is still early in the fall season. Also, is there plenty to do besides going to the beach?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

We were there for a few days in early November of 2000 or 2001 (can't recall which). The weather was gorgeous. A little cool for swimming all but one day, but perfect for sitting in the sun with a good book or walking on the beach.
