Just decided on a summer trip -- DDP or not?

We have just decided to try and get in 4 or 5 nights in June or July (not the 4th week though). What I need help with is should I even try to do DDP in June or July? Are all the ADR's gone? Our past 2 trips we have done multiple character meals and had many super Table Svc meals. I don't want to pay for DDP and not be able to get an ADR or have to spend all our time waiting. Can someone give me feedback on avg wait times with ADR's during June/July? And if anyone else is still making/changing ADR's at this late date and still getting any decent times and places?

About a week ago I booked an improptu trip for June 7-12, I did buy the ddp and while dining times are not exactly the best, I did get reservations at our favorite restaurants. I have been calling nearly daily to try to change them with no luch....so most of our dinners are between 8:30-9pm.
