FREE fridge and 12 cup coffee maker available to anyone staying at any of the the All Star Resorts (Movies, Music and Sports). Lot's of 2008 dates available!!
The home resort for our fridge is MOVIES.

OK, really dumb question. I've never done this before. I normally either get a small cheap cooler at walmart or I just abuse the ice machine.
If I do get the fridge, how do I pick it up? What do I do with it when I leave.

Certainly not a dumb question!

The person that uses the fridge before you puts your name and reservation number on the box and returns it to the luggage storage area which is where you pick it up (or request that it be delivered to your room) when you check in. Then you put the next persons name/reservation info on it and return it to the luggage desk when you are done and so on. We keep on swapping it.

This swap will work best if you are staying at the All Star Movies Resort. If you have a way to pick-up the fridge and drop it back off at the Movies, then you could certainly use it at any of the All Star Resorts. Let me know.

Why do we fridge swap? Because Disney has decided NOT to provide free fridges at the Value resorts like they do for the moderates and deluxes. Most of us stay at the Values because we, well, we need a value and paying $10 a day to use a fridge seems silly!

The founding members of this swap, including myself, each paid under $10 to buy the fridge and ship it. Once it was paid off, we no longer needed to charge and have been happily swapping it since last May!! Murphy's law would have it that it went missing for the 1st time the very week I arrived so I have never personally used it :upsidedow

OH yEs...I have 3 custom t-shirts being made right now..
One for his b-day day..the day following our arrival...

3rd one says I'm turning 8 at Disney..they are so cute. I can't wait til they arrive! He will be so surprised!

We ended up renting a car so we have a bit more freedom.(Priceline $9/day...lol who could resist)..our ADR's are all over the place as well..this way we can buy stuff for the fridge on the way from the airport rather than dragging on the plane.. I was told there are a few good placed to shop off the disney property...

i also found a wonderful lady on Ebay to buy pins from..After getting ripped off from 2 sellers on there...they are beautiful huge trading pins with cute little mickey rubber backs.. Paid $2 a pin! Just ordered more from her...My poor son is going to be weighed down...lol

Time is standing still now...

We are in the middle of a HUGE snow storm..have 1.5 feet of it already since yesterday and they said it hasn't even reached the bad part yet...lol So its a Disney day..good day to start to pack some stuff away for the trip.
