View Full Version : Hollywood Behind the Scenes Walking Tour (Red Line) question

We are trying to wrap up our upcoming trip in June. Has anyone ever done this tour and what did you think. It will be myself, DH and our 17 year old DS (who is a film/movie fan). We are staying at the Grand Californian and will be using the Southern California City Pass. We would like to take a day to get into the city. IF this tour is worthwhile, should we buy tickets in advance or "risk it" when we get there.

Sounds like our vacation two years ago. We didn't do the tour but just walked around ourselves. We went into the theatres and had lunch and strolled at our leisure. Then we went over to Rodeo Drive for a peak before ending up at Santa Monica to do some shopping on their promenade and visit the pier.
