I was looking at the schedule goofy! has going, and I believe the best day for our meet just may be Friday, June 29th. The other 2 "possible good days" are Thurs. 6/28 or Sat. 6/30.

Because of some people arriving later in the week, some people leaving at the end of the week, and some people who are renting cabanas :rolleyes1 , I think this is the best day. So, you all know your schedule, and you know who you are ;) , so let's figure a date:

I will actually be "in town" from June 25 - June 30.... I am going to be pretty busy during the day hours but am free at night. I was actually looking to do the Velvet Sessions concert on that Thursday night. Not sure how many of you would maybe like to give that a whirl. I have never done one, but have heard they are fantastic!!!

She needs to meet (in person) all her wonderful, supportive friends (who are like family) that live "inside the box". Of course, she will need the whole weekend, as travel time is involved. She deserves this "brief get-away" because of all the time she takes in taking care of the Beans and you, keeping the house, running errands, paying bills, etc..... She will be in good hands with her friends, and we promise to watch her "alcohol intake". It is imperative to have her at our meet, as she is an important member of "the board".

We just had to change our trip dates from July to June 28-30 due to a conflict with my husband's work. That means we can join in on the Dis meet on the 29th!!! Are the plans still the same? Margaritaville between 2-3pm?

Also, we will just be the NashvilleDuo this trip...Little man will be staying with his grandparents so mom and dad can enjoy some time to themselves. But he will not be told where we're going, or else he'd throw a major fit!!!

That's great to hear Melissa! :yay: I do believe we are doing the meet that day and we'll have to pinpoint more of a time. I'm not gettin' any input here, so i just may have to be a "big, bad mom" and tell everyone what to do :rolleyes1 (i don't want to be the "plan maker", i was just "initiating" plans)....but, since we're on about a month for most, keep tabs on the thread and we'll be more specific...maybe by the end of the holiday weekend (i have THREE days off IN A ROW :eek: --that never happens when not on vacation!-- so, i will be able to have more time to help arrange this meet whilst cleaning out the attic :headache: )

glad you'll be joinin' us....if i'd known, i would have just BROUGHT you that cd.... :rotfl:

my stomach's in a knot, still thinking my mother will have some sort of episode or another (real or imagined) either before we leave or are on our trip; to throw a monkey wrench into our plans...she hates when we travel. As in i'm not able to cater to her every beck & call. Dread the phone calls home "...the sky is falling..." I'm watching to see what the final plans are. We are free all day Friday, so the time doesn't really matter to me. I'm everyone's WDW planner (planning trips for/with 3 friends right now), so I'm happy to sit back and let someone else make all the decisions!
