Parents who think their kid can do no wrong.

Here's an example:

There's this kid, around 13, let's call him Zach. So he's camping somewhere and he sees a bunch of boys younger than him playing soccer. So he asks to play, and they say yes, because they figured it would be rude to say no.
Zach gets mad at this five year old, and pushes him to the ground and starts kicking him.
Peter, the five year olds brother who's about 11 tells Zach to stop beating his brother up. Zach gets mad, and punches Peter in the face.
Then he goes home to his camping trailer.
Later, Peter, his brother and his mother go to see Zach's parents about what their son did.
The mother says 'Your kids were the wrong, they deserved it. BYE.'

How could a parent, who knows what happened, sees the bruises on the kids that their son beat up and figure that it was okay for their son to beat them up?
It's absolutely awful.

That is so awful.

It really bothers me when Parent's think that their children are perfect.

For a 13 year old to even think about beating up a 5 year old is wrong. I just wish there was someone there who would show him what its like to get beat up by someon older than him.

A 13 year old beating up a 5 year old is like a 20 year old beating up a 13 year old. I'd say he deserves it.

The parents are the ones giving the bad examples by letting the kid get away with it. I'm guessing these are also the parents who push in front of you when standing in line and you ask them politely to go to the back and they either stare at you like you've insulted them or they just stress out yelling and so on.

I hate people like that. We were talking about this in english awhile ago, parents just are living in a fantasy world and don't want to have one of those 'bad children' but those are the parents that do. it's sad really.

I HATE parents like that. I had a friend and her mom was the same way. I couldn't stand that!

Those are the parents who still think their kids are still cute little babies because their not ready to grow up. I dispise them. I mean how the heck could a little 5 year old diserve to be beaten up by a 13 year, who then beats up the 5 year olds 11 year old brother because he wanted him to stop the violence because he's a good kid who doesn't want his brother to beaten up by this jerk.

Oh yes, that also annoys me. I mean their kid is assaulting some poor toddler and they think the little kid deserved it? That's just...horrible.

It is 100% the parents fault. They know what their kid is doing but they ignore it, so he keeps on doing it.

I believe in firm, but gentle discipline. Firm that you get your point across, gentle that they know you still love them.

And I can't stand parents who think they're sooo perfect. I've read something on the CB and I've never heard about more "perfect" parents in my entire life.

Or parents that try to befriend their daughter/son. Parents should not be your friend but your guide.

I hate when parents think that. I know some kids that are SOO horrible, and their parents are just like, 'Oh, he's just being a kid' And they ignore the fact that their kid is making a bunch of people uncomfortable
