Which is better?

Which dates are better for minimal crowds? Oct 1-3 or Oct 9-11? Are the SoCal schools out during either time? Any big events going on?

I know a lot of AZ schools have fall break the 8th - 14th - and I know I will be spending mine in DL :cool1: . Not sure too if there will be carry over from Columbus day on the 8th :confused3 hope not, but not sure.

I checked the calendar for the Anaheim School District and the only day they have off is Monday, Oct. 8th. Anaheim District covers much of the Orange Co. schools. The Corona/Norco district (year round), which is very close to DL, has a min. day on Wed, the 10th.

The two largest districts in south orange county (Capistrano and Saddleback) have no vacation days for either of your dates.

Well we're going on the 9th-13th in hopes of missing all the Columbus day weekend madness. I'm also hoping since those are week days it won't be too bad.

I want to go back during our fall break, too. I don't think June will be enough.
