Anyone else catch it today? I went in with low expectations and I'm glad I did, because I would've been really disappointed otherwise.

Dah. Whatever, I'll see it anyway. Venom looks weird in the previews though.

I'd be sad if there's no 4. Where's Mysterio? Carnage (I'm not sure about the details of him though...)? Those dudes are teh cool.

EDIT: Wikipedia'd Carnage. WHY IS HE NOT IN THE MOVIE?? MY GOD, WHAT PART OF "SERIAL KILLER WITH AWESOME POWERS AND VILLAIN OF VENOM AND SPIDER-MAN" DOES NOT COMPUTE?

Are trailers considered spoilers? Just wondering, cause I thought one part in this one I saw at the theaters was creepy.
I wouldn't DARE try to see it today, we'd have to buy tickets four hours before the show... -.-

Nah, trailers aren't considered spoilers. Most people have seen them anyway.

And it's probably a good thing Carnage wasn't in this movie. They probably would've just ruined his storyline, too.

My prediction for the fourth one, if they make it, is that the villains will be Carnage and the Lizard.

Carnage? Ruin a movie? I guess it makes sense to leave him out since they were just introducing Venom, but the Lizard? Blech, Mysterio was scores cooler than him. Honestly, that would be some hardcore special effects during the movie.

Yea, he always has the teeth. But what about the rest of Venom? The trailer had Venom looking absolutely nothing like what Venom actually looks like.

No, they didn't. But the did introduce the character who becomes the lizard, waaaay back in the first movie and he played minor roles in the second and third movies, which is why I expect the lizard to show up soon.

And by "different", do you mean Venom looks scrawnier than usual in the trailer? If that's what you mean, then no, he doesn't get to look like the Venom you're used to. I noticed that, too. I think they did that because the guy who plays Eddie Brock is scrawnier than Eddie Brock is supposed to be.

Me and my friend thoought the same thing! It killed the whole mood of the movie... We thought they should cut it out of the DVD. Otherwise it was great! Ah Reviews Smhiews who cares its their opinion and we have our own =D And at the end we had used all of our napkins for tissues.:rotfl2: And did anyone else notice that Pete is totally Lava when hes emo ^_^?

Probably. The dance part was horrible.

I went to see the movie about 6 hours ago, but internet was down so I started playing Morrowind and....

Before I get off topic here. I thought the movie was good. Symbiote Spidey vs. The Sandman was the best fight scene IMO.

I missed the Dancing Scene, since I conveniently left to go to the bathroom (not really "conveniently." I saved that particular excuse for the entire movie,) so I missed something that would've made me die inside.

HERE THAR BE SPOILERS!!! DO NOT HIGHLIGHT THE FOLLOWING UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN/SHOW NO INTEREST IN SEEING THE MOVIE.
OK, the ending was sad. Yea. But I was too busy being blinded by rage. Why? THEY KILL VENOM! The best character in the whole movie, and they blow him up. And it's not like he's coming back, since they also blew up the guy who becomes Venom. I get that they kill off all the villains, but VENOM!?! He dies in the lamest way I've ever seen. Holy zen, it just doesn't sit well with me. I mean, Venom is only one of the most important characters in the whole Spideyverse.
And why did Spidey not figure out that if threw fire at Sandman, he would be in effect disposed of? Turn him to glass, break him. One less villain.

Correct, the symbiote lives, but the character who is Venom was destroyed in the blast. If there's anything pure in this world, and since it makes the most sense, that piece will end up making Carnage (:3) and not Venom.

Did you hear? Sony Picitures is for sure making Spiderman 4. And 5. And 6. And 7. None of the major actors have signed on though.



When it comes down to it, this movie had too much fan-service.

In order for conversation to happen about a movie, since there was such a major rage ending, spoilers would happen.

I guess, since it's been out for nearly a week and nearly everyone who is going to see it has seen it, it's probably safe to have spoilers in here now. But it still would've been better if PurpleDucky's post was in white.
