I am cruising on the Magic for the first time January 12. This was a last minute cruise booked last week.

When are the formal nights?
When is the magic show?
Is Palo worth going to?
Is there any special activities that you suggest?

Thanks for any help:earsgirl:

When are the formal nights?Usually Sunday and Thursday, but they sometimes vary the schedule.

When is the magic show?Usually Monday, but they sometimes change the order of shows.

Is Palo worth going to?Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Absolutely. The food there is fantastic. And the service is exceptional. Dinner is great, but try to get in there for one of the brunches, served on the sea days (Sunday, Monday, and Thursday). Be aware that reservations for Palo are fully booked within about an hour of when they open the books. To be sure to get into Palo, you'll want to board the boat shortly after they start the boarding (usually between 12:15 and 12:30). You'll get a Navigator (the daily newspaper) when you check in. The time and place for Palo reservations will be listed on the front page.

Is there any special activities that you suggest?Follow this link and read about one of the more interesting spa treatments available on board. It's a popular treatment, though, so you'll want to make your spa reservation as quickly as you make your Palo reservation.

Have fun on your cruise!
