Is it possible to transfer your Annual Pass to your room key? What if it's not the first time you used it?

I know they will transfer paper tickets bought outside.
I do not see any reason they couldn't as this is just linked to a computer code that refernces your name and finger print

We were told they can not when we have asked before.

Annual passes have the holders name and the effective dates on the back, I don't think a room key could be setup that way.
Annual passes cannot even be purchased at a resort.

No, it can't be done. They need the expiration date on the back.

If you are worried about taking both a KTTW and an AP, we usually put our KTTW card in the pass holder with our AP, so they are always there together. Another suggestion is to get one of the plastic name tag holders that are on a lanyard and put both in there.

Just confirming. Cannot put AP/PAP on a room key. Systems not set up to do. Resorts have no access to AP/PAP database.

Just want to add that as a frequent guest you will probably find the days of using a single card at WDW are mostly over. Here is what I usually leave the room carrying:
1. Room Key
2. Annual Pass
3. DVC Member ID (for perks)
4. Disney Dining Experience card
5. Photopass card
6. Disney Visa Rewards card
7. Driver's License (if the biometrics fail on ANY theme park ticket they can ask to verify photo ID before letting you in)
8. Credit card or cash (you don't want to be caught without this if the room key charging priviledges fail)
9. Auto insurance card (if I'm driving)
Having a park pass on the room key isn't going to save much room. Get a small pouch to store everything and you'll be fine.

I thought I was the only one carrying all this stuff! I got one of the little plastic card holders on a lanyard at the BWV general store. It may look rather geeky but it surely is handy!

Yes, and since all those things are card type items (yes, I take most of those too) they do all fit in the plastic card holders. I often will just put all of them in my AP sleeve and put that in my pocket.
dvc at last !

Thanks.
I will look for this at the BWV when we are there in September.
There is so much to carry when you go to the parks. :cool1:
