OK, we had a lousy experience last year when we tried to get a babysitter at Disneyland. There was no central service, we had to call individuals from a list, it took hours and more than half the people on the list said they weren't even doing the job anymore. (This list was from the Disney's Paradise Pier Concierge.) I ended up missing out on all evening activities.

I am REALLY looking forward to the meet next month and I want to be able to have some evenings free. Have any of you had good luck with any licensed, bonded sitting services? (I won't be staying at the GC, so the club is out.)

Has anyone heard of or used Sitters Unlimited?

Teri, I've heard of Sitters Unlimited, never used them, though. They are a babysitting service franchise throughout the West.

Just looking at the Yellow Pages and the Fullerton Child Care Agency is listed as:

Since 1956
Immediate Response, Licensed, Bonded
Mature Ladies

Sitters Unlimited is also in there:

Since 1979
CPR Certified
Licensed, Bonded

I think they both sound like good options -- I'd give them both a call.

Good luck! :)

Thanks, Michelle!

Sitters unlimited has an e-mail address, I wrote and asked for their fees:

1 child for hotel $15.00 an hour
$1 more for each additional child
4 hour min.
$5 transportation fee
