OK, initially I had booked a room only at Pop and had already ordered a 6-day hopper through Discount Orlando Vacations. After checking with AAA, I was able to get a very good package at POFQ for only $30 more. Now, here's the dilemma: I don't really want to buy another ticket but I've been told that I have to buy at least a 1-day base ticket for everyone in our room in order to get the dining plan. My AAA agent seems to think I need to buy a 6-day hopper and 2-one/day base tickets?:confused3 That doesn't make sense to me. Ideally what I would like to do is buy 2 one-day base tickets, keep my original 6-day hopper that I've already purchased and updgrade the combined 2 one-day base tickets into one 6-day hopper. Is this possible? I know it's confusing, but I think it's possible. Now the other question is, would the $ figure out to be the same or would they penalize me in some way for upgrading 2 one-days into a 6-day hopper?

TIA!

You can't apply the value of 2 tickets to 1 ticket. It's not permitted. So if your package will include 2 one day tickets, you can apply the value of one of them towards an upgraded 6 day hopper, but you'll have to hang onto the other ticket for another trip.

There were some early reports of folks having trouble upgrading one ticket in a package and not upgrading the other tickets at the same time, but I've read far more reports that folks HAVE been able to do that.

BrerMama is correct: You cannot combine two tickets into one -- you can only upgrade each individually. You could, theoretically, upgrade each to three days, but of course, that's not as efficient a use of tickets you've already purchased.

OK--I can live with that. Thanks for the replies!
