Can we rent a golf cart for one day/night if we aren't staying there?

WE have stayed at the cabins in the past. We enjoyed the atmosphere, but found them to be crowded and now we are super spoiled by being DVC members.


We are going down from December 2-12 and we were hoping to take a tour around and see all the campers decorations.

We were thinking we could plan on a night to rent a golf cart and tour around and then return the cart. Do you think we can do that?

We were able to do that quite a few years ago, when we just wanted to drive around and see all the campgrounds.....but i have no idea if can still be done today....but i am also curious!!!!
