I know that it's kinda on the Young end of the Spectrum, but I was curious as to whether anyone bought Pokemon Diamond and Pearl when it came out?
I have to wait until June for it.. :( So I am going to keep myself happy by seeing how happy everyone else is.. Only 58 days until the release..... How long till I crack then?? :lmao:

I'll give you three or four days before you EXPLODE.
Anyone have any comments on the game? I'm not a big fan of Pokemon, but I was thinking of maybe picking this game up.

My 12 year old got them. He suggests you rent it before you buy it because the interface is different and some kids don't like that.

Well, my fiance got diamond and I had pearl on reserve, but they were out of it when I went to pick it up. I played a demo copy, though, and it seems to be really good. You use the stylus to select which moves you want your pokemon to do and which pokemon you want to switch to. So far, that's the only use I've seen for it, but there may be more. I'm looking forward to playing the whole thing.
Oh, and the evolutions are kind of tricky on this one...

Just beat Pearl :cool1:. (well, Elite Four) You can't exactly "beat" the game. I think this is the best Pokemon released (too bad you can only have a base underground)

Well then you really ought to go back and play the old ones. They're pretty good.
I'm finally getting a DS this weekend. I've had the games since they came out but no DS to play them on :lmao:

I beat Pearl a couple weeks ago....Their is so much stuff to do after the Elite Four. Six new routes, and a lot of legendaries.

I would play this if I was about 10 years younger because I am 14 and was so embarrassed to go and get Viva Pinata (and then I had to come back because they only gave me the display box). But I personally like the original Pokemon games better than the newer ones.

What's there to be embarrassed about? It's not like you're going out and buying Barbie in Fairy World or something weird like that. Pokemon's actually fun, no matter how old you are. I'm a decade older than you (wow, I feel old now :headache:) and I enjoy Pokemon as much as anybody and I wasn't ashamed at all to walk into the store and preorder it.

Umm your out of High school (hopefully) and it is totally different when you are a teenager and a 20 year old mostly because you are older than the person at Game Stop.

I will admit that I was embrassed when I first started talking about Pokemon. But in our School we were all Closet Pokemon Fans.. :lmao:
