Hi, I'll be in Orlando in June and was thinking of visiting the Titanic Museum if we have a rainy afternoon or just need a break from the heat. Is it a good attraction/tour and how long should we allow for it. I'll be taking two boys, ages 7 (really into the Titanic) & 5. Is it fun for kids? Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, here is cut and paste of note I made last year...

Hi...we enjoyed it also..Just FYI, there are NO real relics from the ship. There are a number of very large rooms that are mocked up as parts of the ship. So you stand "on the deck," and in a number of parts of the ship including the grand staircase.
There are lots of dishes and ship parts that are models or replicas.
I think the guides are always "crew members" who give give you a very nice tour that is quite sobering. There are lots and lots of pictures and you can wander as much as you like.
We used a local discount coupon. It is located convenient to Disney area with lots of shops and places to shop and wander before and after...
