When does Disney start decorating the park for Halloween?

Ususally the last week of Sept. My mom and I went on Oct 2-9th last year and it was opening week for Halloween. If you go before then the Haunted Mansion is usually closed for the overlay.

How long does the Halloween overlay stay up? We will be there Nov 1-5 and would like to know if we will see the decorations and if anything will be closed for the decorations to come down.

We got AP this year and I can't wait to go with my daughter she is going to love it!

The Halloween overlay stays up until the end of October, as soon as october is over, the Halloween decorations come down except for the Haunted Mansion Holiday as that stays up until after the new years. But as soon as November hits, the Halloween decorations go away and bit by bit the Xmas decorations go up until the first few weeks of January.
