This thread has been set up for the Children on the 2007 11 night Mediterranean Cruise leaving Barcelona Spain on July 28th.It is designed for the kids to get to know each other before the cruise sets sail.

My daughter Carley has been in contact with a few "cruise mates" by e-mail and we thought more kids would like to join in. It is suggested that at first introduce yourselves, age, if you have traveled on the ship or to Disney before, your favorite ride or show etc. Hobbies and sport, and favorite music etc.

What does everyone like, I am into Art and reading, Stephen loves his x box and trains. We also keep fit on our bikes.

We have been on a number of Disney cruises before so know are way around the ship and the clubs, and its good that its coming to us this month across the Atlantic.

Stephan, my brother doesn't have an xbox, but he loves video games. My brother has a gamecube and a playstation that he plays everyday all the time. I am sure they could still talk about video games that both the systems share and
if there is an xbox on the boat my brother(Ben) would love to learn how to play and Stephan could teach him, if he wanted.


Carly I am thinking about what to put in that bag. If I where to go on the highway all I would see is corn so that right now is all I can think of putting in my bag right now.

hi emily! i cant believe I do not have something to study right now! :woohoo: :woohoo: my mom said that maybe we should put something in our gift bag that represents our state (other thn corn.) lol ;)!!!! for example,i might put a NYC shirt or something about it in the bag. Since i live really close to the beach i could do a beach theme and if i get u -thats probably what i will do because you guys dont live near one.:beach: but she said she will ask the other parents for suggestions too.
maybe we can all meet by the Stack on the ship at a certain time. my mom says we are going to try to board as soon as we can- we will be in paris on the 26th, then barcelona on the 27 for a night, so we will be able to go to the boat as soon as they let us- my dad has a blackberry, so if your mom or dad does, we can PM each other the phone numbers or text each other as soon as we all get on the boat -then find a place to meet up- im really getting excited now!! but no matter what we will post a place and time for everyone who wants to meet up

Hi Deanna and welcome!!! You are sooo lucky to live near Disneyland! I've never been to that one, but we go to Disneyworld every year. Im soo excited about the cruise- I cant wait.
My mom just got magnetic backed paper for the printer, so we can decorate our door. You can print anything on the paper. I dont know what Im going to print- probably our names and some of my favorite Disney characters.:tinker: ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo :simba: :stitch: :tigger:
I also have a small dry erase board that is magnetic- with a wipe off marker. If all you guys have one bring it so we can leave messages for each other so we all know where we are in case someone comes back late from an excursion or something- otherwise we may never find each other.
Im goign to ask my mom to pick up a few if she sees them at the dollar store for anyone that does not have one.

Hi Nick a fish hanger is what some parents hang outside the stateroom doors on the fish that is supposed to be there as a coat hanger. The fish hangers are long pieces of material with pockets in so that other people can leave little gifts or messages for them

Hi Nick, have you been on a disney cruise before? Well if you haven`t here are some facts about the crusie!
At dinner you have your own privite waiter who moves around with you to all the different resturants, that way they get to know you and what you like to eat and drink :cool2:
The ships horn is the first line from "When you wish upon a star" and it's really, really loud.
The lifeboats aren't the usual orange they are the Mickey Mouse yellow
The kids clubs have all different exciting games and activities to do from early in the morning till midnight all around the ship

We had a really great trip to Majorca in Spain recently, we stayed in a farm villa and we had our own swimming pool, we went to Alcudia Beach a few days and toured the mountains by old 1912 train to Stoller and also Palma the capital we went around the shops and City.

I am off tomorrow morning very early to France for four days with my school.

Looking forward to the Cruise in 6/7 weeks time.

hey everyone... Ok- 3 finals down - 3 to go .... anyone else having final exams? Some were easy, some were a little hard- I cant wait for our 7th grade pool party at the pool club- it should be fun.
we have to come up with a meeting place the first night.

We are in the first dinner seating- my mom says we are sitting with Alice and Stephen- who else is in the first seating???? I hope we are in the same dinner rotation.

Here are your gift bag matches. Gift bags items should total anywhere from 15-20 dollars. The gifts do not have to be Disney or location specific, but many are leaning toward something highlighting their geographic location- but anything will be great!.
The kids will also swap at the DIS meet on Sunday morning with the parents. It should be a lot of fun! If you are not planning to be at the meet- or if for some reason you cant make it- you can arrange a mini swap with your match at anytime!!!

One disney cruise I went on the waves where really high and they had to close the 10th floor. Also they would not let us stop at cast away key because of the storm. i have been to disney land paris 10 times :banana: :banana: and been to florida once for my dads special birthday.(thats when we also went on the cruise).We go to disney land paris more because it's closer to the uk but we really enjoyed florida.Because of hurricane wilma :sail: most of cast away key was closed so every one went to the adult beach.Just before we got to cast away key the sea was really rough and me and my friend were playing table tennis and we almost lost the ball(random fact):angel: .When we went to florida we went to the not so scary halloween party have you been?
Today i'm going to see the new harry potter film at an imax theatre have you seen it yet?

i have been to disney land paris 10 times :banana: :banana: and been to florida once for my dads special birthday.(thats when we also went on the cruise).We go to disney land paris more because it's closer to the uk but we really enjoyed florida.Because of hurricane wilma :sail: most of cast away key was closed so every one went to the adult beach.Just before we got to cast away key the sea was really rough and me and my friend were playing table tennis and we almost lost the ball(random fact):angel: .When we went to florida we went to the not so scary halloween party have you been?
Today i'm going to see the new harry potter film at an imax theatre have you seen it yet?

We have been to the Halloween party at MK a few times in 2001/2002 and on the ship as well.

We have been to Disney Paris as well, like travel there by eurostar train but we go to Florida more often.

We stayed in the hotel new york at POaris.

I saw Harry Potter Friday night, it was good.

We like Casterway cay, went there twice in 2006, once in 2005 and once in 2002. Back there in 2008.

We will dress up for pirates night.
