Any Good Lesbian clubs on or near I-Drive in Orlando?

Just wondering if there were any gay (lesbian preferably) clubs/bars in the I-Drive area of Orlando? Or even a good strait bar that some lesbians might be at?

My 2 sisters and I will be staying at the Enclave off I-Drive and 2 of us like the ladies ;) and all 3 of us like a good time! (we're not trying to meet anyone for a hook up or anything, just drink a little, dance, be welcome, all that good stuff!)

Any suggestions? We'll be down there from May2nd-7th, and looking forward to seeing how Cinco de Mayo is in Florida.

Well, Saturday nights are lesbian night at Southern Nights. It's not too far from I-Drive (about 20-30 minutes)

Women by and large do not support bars. Ladies' nights were started in an attempt to create a gender balance in bars for "straight" people. Oh, how I resent that term! If they are straight, that makes me bent. Nevertheless, waiving the cover charge and giving women two-for-one drinks were apparently needed to attract women seeking men to places where the odds were already in their favor. Lesbian bars tend to have a short shelf life so places suggested here could be gone by the time you get there.

There must be a local organization for lesbian rights or lesbian socializing. Their events and recommendations are probably your best bet for finding the ladies. I am lesbian in California; and considering how rare it is to find a woman who doesn't love chocolate, I find a good place to meet women is in a bakery in a gay-friendly neighborhood while they are engaging in guilty pleasures and find out if anyone would like to engage in a few more. Booze often has as many calories and as much sugar as that cookie anyway, so what is the difference?

Well, Lesbian night at Souther Nights has been around for the 8 years I've lived in Orlando. There is a full-time lesbian bar called "Faces," but it is a bit seedy from what I've heard.
