Disney's website has just added this new note for those doing DL 1/2 with kids wanting to run the Kids Run:
Registration Update: The DisneylandŽ Family Fun Run Kids' Races will be limited to 1,000 children ages 8 and under. Registration for the Kids' Races has reached approximately 80% of that capacity.
