Computer problems!!

So I have an apple computer and I use ti to play vmk but I get A LOT of lag!! It is a MacBook Pro 2 GHz Intel Core Duo Processor and I have 47 GB of free memory.When I use my dad's laptop it fine but on mine it is horrible! I was wondering if there were any other Apple users having the same problem cause if it is just me I am going to have to go over to the apple store and get my computer checked out!

VMK is laggy on any computer because I just got my computer and it doesn't work at all so I just gave up and wen't back to WoW. But other than that I would get Geek Squad or something like that to check it out.
