By June, it's pretty warm with highs in the 80's at least. We're already experiencing hot days here, so in a month, I'm sure it'll just be hotter. Also, prepare for a rain storm nearly every day (locally referred to as the Daily Rinse Cycle!) which cools things off a little and clears out the parks. It doesn't last long, and we REALLY need the rain - we could smell a wild fire yesterday all over town.

I vote for April. We are going in June, b/c that is the only time I am off work. Believe me, I don't look forward to being in the heat all day.

April would be your best month, but really any month is okay if you're prepared. Hat, sunglasses, etc. The best advice for summer visitors is don't try to over do it - take breaks, and drink gallons of water. Also, the afternoon storms bring nice cloud cover for a while, so August isn't all that bad.

We went last year in June and after the first day, you're used to it. Besides the air conditioning in all the buildings works terrific! Gives you a break and like the other poster said, that rain can clear out the parks some and if you'r e ready with your poncho, march on! We'll be there for 2 weeks in June this year too!:cool1:

yeah we went in august for the past 2 years and you do get used to it to a point but we are walkers... we walk at a fast pace and would rather walk 2 miles back to a resort than wait for buses... call it adult adhd?? i dont know but we do deal with the heat.. i just wasnt sure if it was that"HOT" and humid in june as well.. keep the comments coming!!:cool1:

June is humid and hot, but not totally unbearable, IMHO. And it seems to rain a fair bit; at least it has when we visit then. Not total wash-outs, though. April would be my preference, but we have school commitments, so are limited to the summer right now, except for short visits we try to fit in when we can. June works better for us than August, although mid to late August, the crowds really thin out.

I had some friends go in june and they said it was HOT!
mid 90s every day, with a afternoon warm rain (they said that was nice to cool off) they also said the lines were long and stuffy so pack waterbottles or one of those spray fans! (1.00 at wal-mart probably)

HAVE FUN!

Very hot, but not as bad as August. Bring ponchos in case of afternoon thundershowers. Have fun!
