Well just a couple of days until May and we should start the monthly challege. I have not been too good the last couple of months but I have about 6 weeks until the weight loss challenge ends so I really have to get moving.

I really want to make my goal this month - 900 minutes.


I guess I should try to do at least 30 mins per day of exercise. That's how I figure it up for the month.

How many minutes a day do you want to work out and how many days a week? Let's say you want to workout 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. That's 150 minutes. Multiply that by how many weeks in the month. Which I believe is 5 this month. So 150 minutes X 5 weeks= 750 minutes.

I just made my April goal - with an extra 4 minutes :thumbsup2
So I will up my goal for May for 600 minutes. Some of you are so impressive with your goals.

Thank-you so much for hosting this month. I only did 500 and made it over by 100 so let make this months goal 600 Maybe it will motivated me to get moving more and maybe I can up it 100 minutes a month yeah right lol

I missed my goal last month by about an hour -- but i didnt start until a week in, and i had a full time job + college classes, now that school is over, im striving hard to reach my goal! please put me down for 600!

Now that spring has finally arrived, I'm going to push a little harder this month and go for 1100 minutes :cutie: .

I've started walking with two neighbors and the three :dance3: of us are extremely determined to walk off our extra weight. Today, we're planning a 6 mile walk ~ yea!

I guess I'll try 800 again - we're going to disney May 12-19th so I'm sure I'll get exercise there but not sure how I'll keep track of it. So for the other 3 weeks I should be able to do 800 minutes. Thanks for doing this!!!!!

I'm going to be in Walt Disney World & on a Disney Cruise this month so I want to be realistic. I know we're going to do alot of walking but I'm not going to count that as part of my exercise. Put me down for 500. I didn't make goal last month because I bit off more than I could chew. I'm going to try my hardest to reach goal this month.

Today I did 45 minutes cardio, 60 minutes water aerobics & then I had softball practice tonight for 90 minutes. Does softball practice count?

I was just a little more than half way to my April goal. Life just got in the way with the family (including me) getting sick and such. Kids get out of school this month, so I don't know how much road work I'll be able to get in. However, I'm in the challenge for 1000 this month.

So far this month I am at 75/1000

Tuesday I did 30 minutes and Wednesday I did 25 minutes high intense cardio with Bob and 20 minutes of weights.

Hidy ho my fellow DISers! I did 70 last night betweeen the treadmill and weights. My official total is 102/500.I'm so excited we leave tomorrow for Walt Disney World. We're also going on a 3 day cruise on Disney Wonder. I'm going to try to be good.

:idea: At the end of the month, we should total how many minutes our entire group exercised.

I can add 24 minutes today so my total is 83/600. Tonite we volunteer for Special Olympics track and field so I can add more time tomorrow. Some of those guys walk so fast I have to jog to keep up!! :rotfl2:

I took a short (30 minutes) walk on both Friday and Saturday for a total of 60for a new total of 170/1100

Today, I plan on wogging 50 minutes and strength training 15 minutes, but I'll report the actual minutes after I've completed it.

My kids are in a parade today and I may be marching with them. I just love listening to them toot their horns. I might be adding more walking minutes later in the day.

We had an active weekend this weekend. We took the kids to the Water park and then went for a big walk yesterday so I figure I averaged about 60 minutes of exercise. So that brings my total up to 120/600 minutes.:banana:

Yesterday, I walked 90 minutes with my neighbors. Shortly after I got home and stretched, another friend called and wanted to go walking :scared1: so I walked another 90 minutes. Believe it or not, I feel great! No shin splints, sore feet or blisters :thumbsup2

I exercised a total of 180 minutes yesterday. My new monthly total is 490/1100 ;)
