Hi, just read that the tickets for PPP in August are going on sale May 1st, not June 1st as I thought. I am just wondering how to purchase tickets from the UK, and whether they would be delivered or collected when I get to WDW?

Anyone here who went at the beginning of the year who could help? Or anyone with a bigger brain than me who just knows where to find this info? :confused3

Thanks,
Sara. :)

If its same as MNSSHP you can have then delivered here for $10 or select Willcall like we have done in the past and collect them from any guest services, we find easiest is Downtown Disney as we go often.
We are going to Pirates night in August, waiting to see if Cast members get a Discount, our friend will get them for us then.

Which one in August are you going to Wayne. We are debating between 21st and 28th - can't decide. We are hoping that there may be a discount for AP holders - that may then swing the decision for us as to whether to buy APs this year or not ;)

We went to Pirates and Princess Party in February. We booked our tickets online at the WDW website and picked them up from guest services.

I was thinking about 15th or 21st with them being midweek might be a little quieter, but still considering a 4 night Disney cruise if they have any offers on nearer so cant make a decision yet.
We have decided to renew AP as we are there for 25 nights August and sure we will go back Easter next year for 2 weeks.

We're aiming for the August 28th, with 24, 31 and 3rd Sept as a back up!! :rotfl: Which would be better - phoning or doing it online? I'll be picking up from guest services at DTD since we should be going to the BBB before hand ;)

Look when they release them, last MNSSHP tickets we bought there was a $5/ticket discount for buying online.

Thanks for telling us the change of date. We are aiming for 28 Aug as DD turns 7. The plan is to have a pricess breakfast in her fav park which is Epcot as she loves Test Track and stay around future world until mid afternoon then head over to Bibbidi boutique for her to get her hair, makeup, nails and dress then head over to MK for dinner (any suggestions would be nice but not Royal Table as I think it would be character overkill) and then enjoy the Princess Party!!!! We have done MNSSHP a couple of times so hoping this one will be as good. I cannot wait to see her all dressed up. She has no idea what we are planning (arent some of us parents wicked!!!!!)

Its not 8 am in Florida. It also possible its updated from California offices there its not 5am yet, but whenever it is they won't sell out today, don't panic. A lot of people pay on the gate for Halloween parties. :goodvibes

True, hadn't thought about it being updated from Calidfornia. Doesn't matter now, I booked it over the phone. At least I got to double/triple check all the arrangements and stuff. I'm happy - officially going on the 28/8 WOOHOO! :goodvibes :goodvibes

We all really enjoyed it. However, we went Feb 15th when the parks weren't busy anyway and a definate plus for us was that were no queues at all for the rides or to meet the characters. We rode Goofy's Barnstormer 5 times without getting off - and we could have stayed on longer. Also BTM was a walk on - everything was that I can remember.

Presuming it's exactly the same party - it has it's own parade and firework display and the Dream Along With Mickey show at the Castle is on a few times during the night as well.

The children enjoyed getting the treasure - chocolates and necklaces.

I would recommend it and if it's still on when we plan to go again (which isn't until Feb 2009) we will definately be going again. I haven't been to any other parties at WDW so I don't know it compares.

It was same for Halloween, we just stayed on BTM for a few rides, no-one waiting.
I think we will be doing the 21st but won't be booking it until about a month before we go.
Joanne, what time did you go into the park for the party? We have been told we will be allowed in after 4:30pm same as the Halloween parties. Did you go early?
Thanks

Yeah, I had loads of music. Mary Poppins, Cinderella, Zip-a-de-do-da, Peter Pan, and a few others - tuned out after awhile. Especially since I've been listening to the Greatest Disney Album in the World Ever all morning! They will answer - I was beginning to think they wouldn't, but they did :D

Oh wow! Now that's what I call a birthday! Looks like we'll be following each other around all day though! As soon as I got off the phone for the tickets, I rang to book the BBB. All three of us are booked in for 1pm and 1:30pm. So if you see 3 very big kids (adults) there, that would be us!! :rotfl:

The party was from 7.30pm until 12.30am and we got there about 7. Our children are 6 and 4 and so we had taken them back for a long sleep in the afternoon and then had dinner before we came out again. Are the times the same for the August parties?

Yes the Halloween parties are ticketed from 7:30 but they allow in in from 4:30 and give you a wrist band. The last Halloween we went to we got there at 4:30 walked up Main st and a cast member picked us out as we were all in Halloween outfits, he asked us to be on the omnibus to wave at the parade crowds. Great experience.
I was told by a Cast member its the same for the Pirates evenings but wondered if anyone had done it. Can go in with our AP's earlier but want to get my Pirate passes activated (hopeing they are good for VMK quest cards).

Online booking is there now.
No direct link as far as I can see.
Click Tickets and reservations, then Tickets and passes, drop down box to special events anc click go.
There is probably a quicker way but its easy enough.
Not checked any passholder link yet, passes are at home.
