DVC DCL Ressie & Transportation to Port Canaveral

We got our confirmation paperwork for our May'08 DCL Vacation but it doesn't include transfers. The last 2 times we took a DCL vacation it was as non DVC members, but it included transfers from the airport to and from the ship. Does anyone know what my options will be and how much it will cost to get to Port Canaveral from Orlando Intn'l Airport?

I'm also wondering if anyone knows if there's an auto rental service at the port for us to pick up a car at th end of our trip.

I know there is a rental near the port, many people use it. Check the Cruise strands, they ca n answer almost everything you want to know!

Transfers may be added thru MS. I don't recall the price, but it is the same as for all cruisers.

In March 06 my DW and DS went on the 4 day Wonder cruise. We rented a car to get us to the Cruiseport from MCO. We turned the car in at the Avis office in Canaveral, Florida, then they transferred us back to the Cruiseport. After all my research, it was the cheapest way to get from MCO I believe it cost me $32.50 for the two hour rental.

My recollection was that it was something like $30.00 per person to use the Disney transportation.

I just put that out as an alternative to the list.

If you use the DCL bus from the airport to the port and then back to the airport or WDW, it is $69 per person.

A towncar will run approximately $200-ish round trip.

So if you have more than 3 people in your party, a towncar is the less expensive option.
We are using the DCL bus in Sept, as it is only DH, DD and myself (DS will only be 2, so his ride is free).

But in Feb, we will have all 4 kids and DS will be 3, so we are getting a luxury van for like $250 round trip. For the DCL bus, it would have been over $400!
