BWV in DVC

Thinking about buying into DVC at BWV. Is there ever a point I can buy a resale through DIsney? Or do we need to buy an outside resale?

BWV is sold out thru DVC. Some members have been able to acquire add-ons to their memberships, but these are dependant on other members defaulting on their ownership (and possibly a few- very few- buy backs thru right-of-refusal).

If you want to own at BWV, better seek a resale, where you can likely find a cheaper purchase anyway.

Doc, I was just curious. We have a bunch of contracts. If we wanted to sell one back to Disney and try to buy BCV could you do that? Does Disney buy back without the matching of a private sale? If they did at what price would they buy back?

No, Disney hasn't indicated any interest, at this time, in developing a resale program. Their current policy is that they will buy back only an offer they consider to be too low, so it will take an actual accepted offer for them to enter into the picture at this time.

Peter, we SOLD an OKW contract as a resale........and BOUGHT a BWV contract as a resale. Not an inexpensive proposition. The commissions on sale of a contract are STEEP, but negotiable. There are ways of selling WITHOUT a broker.........but you need to find good legal representation.........
