One more AP upgrade question (so sorry)

Really sorry to keep burdening you all with the AP upgrade questions - but I tend to worry :confused3

Do you have to upgrade on the day before you run out - or can you do it on the last day the ticket is good for???

Can you upgrade a 6 day PH - just did the math - and I might want to use my EE for our last day - which would be day 6???

Just a quick note. If you are going to upgrade to the deluxe A/P on during your stay, check the black out dates and don't upgrade until after the black out date. I'm upgrading on our last day (Sat) and it's a black out day. I'll enter the park and then upgrade and you don't get charged the black out fee. Good luck.:hourglass

Also, they used to make it so that if you buy your AP on a blackout date, you can still get into the park that day without paying the blackout fee. I'm not sure if that is still policy, though.

Just to add to mesabravo's statment, I upgraded in the park at the bank on the righ tof DL on my last day on Sat. I then hopped to DCA using the new annual pass. The CM immediately said it was not good, but corrected herself when I explained I just upgraded that day which she verified based on the date of the deluxe annual pass.

I upgraded a 6-day PH on the last day a couple of years ago. We waited as long as possible because we had a AAA enhanced FP PH. We had no problem upgrading then. What was strange was that the date on our AP was the last date of our visit (the date of the upgrade), not the first day that the PH was used. I've always heard they back-date the AP to the first day of your visit. I guess it was a mistake, but I didn't complain!
