my girlfriends & i are planning a last minute girls' night out/weekend out (totally last minute thing) anyways...where would be a good place to stay? 2 of us are passholders, but we live so close that we don't usually stay overnight when we do visit. so we don't really know the hotels around the area. i did check the resort, but they're all booked for next weekend. yes, i know it's really last minute! one of my girlfriend is in the middle of a "i need to get away" mode, and that's how this all got started. and it is sounding like a fun thing! and we are planning on leaving the kids w/our DHs, and just hang out at disneyland!

anyways, any help in this matter is greatly appreciated! and also, if you have any ideas on what to do...where to eat, etc. i do have my favorite places, but i just thought i'd throw it out there, and see what i get. usually when i do visit, it's w/kids so the venues are totally different. again, thank you all in advance! :flower:

Are you looking for a good neighbor hotel or something else? I saw someone post about a great resort on the beach a while back. I ment to keep it but some how didn't. Anyway the only Good neighbor hotel I have stayed inis Candy Cane Inn and it was nice. Jan

not "pampering"...just a place to sleep. how'z candy lane? do you get a view of the fireworks? i was looking at howard johnson, anyone stayed there? i can get a 15% discount there for ap holders, so that's a plus.

here's what we are thinking...going down there saturday afternoon. hang out at dtd...do some shopping, dinner, maybe catch a movie, dessert, then head back to hotel. head into park in the morning, character breakfast/lunch, hang out & ride rides we don't normally get to ride when we're w/the kids...

again, thank you for any input...:flower:
