Hi everyone,
I've taken a tour through this board. WOW!!! There are some truly talented artists here!
I could really use some advice. I'd like to personalize some tiedye shirts I bought from tiedyusa. They are single-color-family shirts in medium shades of blue and green. I was thinking of doing iron-on designs of character silhouttes. The designs I've seen here are AMAZING, but I'm afraid all the colors would get lost in the "loud" tiedye. I haven't decided yet if I should do the silhouettes in black or white. Or is there something else I should consider? I'm not looking for personalization of the image if that helps.
Also, I'm having a hard time finding clipart/images of Disney characters in silhouette. If I find an image I like, is there a way to turn it into a silhouette? I'm sure that's a dumb question, but I know nothing about graphics programs. Or is there some treasure trove of Disney character silhouettes that I haven't found? The traditional Mickey head isn't too hard to make, but I would really love to have one of Stitch and one of Crush. :) Oh, and maybe one of the castle. :rolleyes1
Anyway, any ideas for putting simple Disney characters onto ...vibrant... tiedye shirts would be most welcome.
Thanks a bunch!
