airtran is having WAY better deals, I just got $40 one way non stop from pittsburgh to Orlando, $59 from Orlando to pittsburgh one way non stop, WOW! If the times work for you, go for it! These same flights were $99 in am!

go ahead and plug in your data with august dates and then proceed to next screen, you will be able to change your flight dates there.

but I second the opinion that southwest fares are not so great.

I just went ahead and booked airtran so I can quit hovering over this laptop 24/7!

got $49 each way for PHL to MCO 9/18-9/25

so it is now officia, we are going since flights are non refundable! whew!

Wow - Kileybeth - $49 one way on Airtran is great!! How early in advance did you book it??? We're flying out of Philly in Dec. and I'd love to get something better than $99 each way (SW doesn't go out that far but looking at late October, they're asking $103 each way without the Ding - and they used to be the cheaper way to go!!).

too high for me from Buffalo to MCO- 168 dollars one way- ouch!! I love southwest and am waiting patiently (not) for their fares to go down. If they don't we are flying AirTran.

Magic me,

just booked yesterday, April 27 for our upcoming September 18-25 trip.

This is the furtherest out I have ever booked flights and it is making my DH a bit crazy to pay for them now.

I sure hope I don't get a Ding from Southwest that is less between now and then since I can not change these at all without penalty.

The rising gas prices were making me a bit nervous tho. . .and I needed 6 tickets all together as well and I wanted to fly out early and come home late and I got both of those. We'll be in Orlando by 9ish and then back home at end of trip by 10:30pm. both non stop.

Kileybeth - I think you are doing great with the $49 tickets from AirTran. The best I saw last year with SW from PHL to MCO was $49 so at least you have your tickets and can relax!!!

I just booked 9/15-9/22 from Dulles (Washington) to Orlando, for $49.00 each way!!! We flew Southwest last year instead of Ted and were really impressed - does anyone know if Southwest is participating with Magical Express yet? They weren't last year. Thanks!
