Question about crowds during marathon weekend.

Hi everyone,
I am new to the forums and I am interested in registering for the WDW full marathon in 2008. I am curious about the crowds at the park during the week before and after? I am trying to decide whether to bring the family or to just go by myself.

I don't know about teh week before or even during the weekend, as we don't get to parks until late Sunday or Monday. The crowds are very low by MOnday or Tuesday. WIth marathon being late in 08, I wthink teh weeke before would be pretty low too.

I say bring your family! The crowds are not bad at all. By the 2nd week in Jan just about all the kids around the world are back in school.

When the marathon is a few days after the New Years Weekend, crowds get larger but the week after the race it is really quite. Jan is a slow month.

Thanks for the responses and the welcome. This would be my first marathon ever and I am ready to register. I was originally thinking I would register for the half but I think I am going to go for the full and try to get a half in before then.
