Minnie Viewing question

I was just wondering if this was a valid viewing plan to catch my wife.

1.Start of the race
2. MGM by sidewalk over to hotels
3. race finish

I was wondering if anyone knows if the MGM parking lot will be easily accessible. I was thinking if you can get in the parking lot close by observation site 2 would be easy ( I am driving each place). If not I'll skip it for EPCOT.

Are you thinking the 15K? This is from the final instructions:

Spectator Viewing: Spectators are encouraged to view the 15K from the start at Disney’s
Animal Kingdom or at the finish line at Epcot. There are no viewing areas along the course.


I don't know about MGM parking lot, but it would seem that you could be between the Boardwalk & Beach Club (or is it the Yacht club, I can never remember which is which). I would think it would be hard to get to the finish logistic wise if you do that.

I doubt that the parking areas for MGM would be open that early. You could park at Boardwalk and walk the path back to MGM on the race course, and than drive from BW to EPCOT. You will have to be quick!
