Hi,

It took me a while, but I created a web page for my trip report click here for report (http://www.cs.odu.edu/~jdc/missy) . I took a lot of digital pictures and wanted to share them. Right now the first page works best in Internet Explorer (you can see the whole image) but you can still use it with Netscape. I am currently re-reading it because I know the grammer could be improved. I hope you enjoy!

Congratulations, and thanks for a great report!

I enjoyed reading about your Who Wants to be A Millionaire success. We played on 12/27 and my daughter and I - who would NOT be happy to be in the hot seat - were surprised (and a little scared, aren't we chicken?) when we finished third and fourth. It turns out that my son, who was sitting in another part of the theater, was number two!

I loved reading your report and your pictures are gorgeous!!! I hope you don't mind but I used your picture of the UK in Epcot for wallpaper on my computer! I'm constantly changing it to various WDW scenes and I loved that photo! World Showcase is one of my favorite parts of all of WDW! Congratuations on your engagement! Will you honeymoon in WDW too?!!!

Thank you all for the nice words. Joel and I feel very blessed to have each other and for such a perfect trip. Everything seemed to work out wonderfully. Please enjoy the pictures and feel free to use them for your own webpages or for wallpaper on your computer. I got my digital camera for Christmas and highly recommend it (HP 315 ~$160). Joel and I have not set a date yet for the wedding mainly because I am going away for a year to get my Ph.D. classes done. We are currenlty thinking of taking a cruise for our honeymoon because Disney is definitely tiring. Personally I am going to push for the 7 day Disney Cruise. :)

Thanks again for all the wonderful comments.

I really enjoyed your trip report and pictures. A couple of questions. Thinking about the Swan for our 24th anniversary (to be honest I don't expect the same amount of romance, sigh) but he is a great guy. Anyway how did you like the Swan experience? also how far in advance did you book your fireworks cruise. Sounds like a great idea. Thanks

wld,

To answer your questions: I loved my Swan experience. I would stay there again without a second thought. I would make sure to book a balcany room because we used it a lot. The hotel staff were extremely nice and the bell men were excellent. You won't get animals made out of your towels like you read about at Disney hotels, however our room was always remade nicely and the cleaning staff were helpful (they found our remote for the tv). As for the fireworks cruise, you have to book them 90 days in advance. They are not that many available, but I had no difficulty getting one. The calling center opens at 7am. I went to the atomic clock website and dialed in a couple of seconds before 7, by the time it connnected, it was after 7 and I was one of the first calls into the center. (check out the directions for obtaining a illuminations cruise on the theme park pages, and follow them except ask for a fireworks cruise). And by the way, my fiancee is very loving but never this romantic. You can be surprised sometimes...

Loved your report and the pictures. Sounds like you had a great trip. I was a previous WDW college programmer, and I should have been there when you were but I came home early. I had to go get refill pins for the lanyards one day. Your right about the crappy pins...they now are putting old Disney Store leftover pins on the lanyards. As for everything else on your trip, it looks like it was good time, and congrats on your engagement!
