I have been waiting to do this one to see if they would pay higher since I didn't really need to join but I would for the right price. Since it was raised to 12.00 today I decided to do it and it credited to my account in 15 minutes. I ordered 5 movies for around 30.XX and now I just need to buy 4 more movies at regular price in the next 2 years. No problem since I buy new Disney movies whenever they come out and I also have many old movies that need replacing. HTH!

LUCKY YOU!! I signed up when it was only $6...always a day late and a few dollars short :lmao:
It is a good club...though they are WAY behind releasing the DVDs.

They are???? Well at least now I know to buy new releases when they come out and not wait and then use the 4 credits to buy movies I need to replace. At least then I can maybe continue to get the lithographs from Disney store for pre-ordering new releases. Thanks for the info and sorry you missed the increase!!!

Yeah it sucks big time...they just released Fox and the Hound 2 this month...and just did Cars like a month or so ago. That is my only complaint with them. Otherwise it is a good deal.
It you are looking for a way to make some $$...buy the DVD Rocketman and sell it on ebay...it sells for like $40-50 for a new sealed copy. You cannot buy it in stores and lots of people want it. I bought two from my latest membership...covers the cost!

Sounds wonderful but I have never sold anything on ebay and if I get started now my family may end up with nothing LOL I love to earn money and if I start selling I will sell stuff right out from under them. Thanks for the info though I may consider it.

RocketMan was just released by Disney to the public last week on Tuesday...so it might not bring in the big bucks on e-bay anymore.

Mine was credited in probably 5 minutes...it was amazing (I nearly fell over in surprise when I checked SR and it was there).
What's wild is that DH thought I'd ordered it yesterday, but I hadn't because I thought we were waiting. So today he brought it up, asking if I'd done it, I went to do it, and has that nice surprise of double the credits. :)
We already have the movies we want to get picked out...don't know if we have to wait through cycles, or if we can just request them, but it's nice to have a plan. :woohoo:

Don't be surprised to see a lot more offers crediting quickly, we've done some "remodeling" and I think you all will be extremely happy with the new changes. Tricia is constantly making things better.

I so want to do this, but I want to use the code I got in the mail a couple weeks ago for Disney Visa people. It was 5 movies for $1, plus discounted rates on the next 2. Anyone (Trica? :)) know if I can use the SR link and then change the promo code once I'm on the page and still get credit? Thanks!

I forget- I used to be a member of DMC- but haven't been for awhile. Can I do this offer for credit? Or is it new members only.

I was wondering the same thing. The promo code I got in the mail was much better than the one listed on the link through SR, so I figured I couldn't use the the promo code I got in the mail, and still get credit through SR.

I am probably being impatient, but I signed up Sunday (4/29) and have not been credited. I believe I qualify...have not been a member before. SR does say could take several weeks, but why do some get their credit quickly and some don't?? I have not been doing this long, and so far my Blockbuster (from a month ago) has not come thru and now this. I will need to cash out in about 10 days or so, so Tricia has time to mail my Disney Dollars, and I need this to credit.

So far, we have had 3 of these not credit (and about 30 did credit). Not sure why. For the ones that have not, we have to wait 7 days past the signup date but can then file a dispute. We have to have the entire email, including the headers to dispute it. Because it is so new, I don't have a feel yet for how quick the disputes are going to be resolved.
Two big ones like Blockbuster and Disney do worry me though that something isn't firing right on your computer.

I don't understand how if you have 1 account, you can sign up for another account. I have been wanting to cancel mine so i did this morning. I could always order more movies, so I thought I could just sign up again since someone here did that. But when I go to the site, I cannot even use the "Sign up" button.
So, is it "legal" to do this? If it is, why can't I access the signing up part?

Tricia-Do we forward you the email? I sent a trouble ticket in yesterday(one week out). What do you mean by "headers"?

Just an update to let you all know that my Blockbuster credit came thru this afternoon. :cool1:
My acct history says paid, but also says gift card pending, which I am assuming means that I have not actually claimed it yet. (I hope, as it's been over a month.)
Now I have to just being patient for the Disney Movie Club.
Thanks, Tricia, for responding earlier. I was beginning to wonder if it had something to do with my computer, also. But I have been using the same computer for all my SR transactions. The surveys, clicks, shopping, and sign-ups always worked and were timely.
You do a nice job, Tricia. And I like your personal touch on this site and with the communications on SR.

I find the easiest way to get the headers that I need is to act like I am going to forward the email and then just copy everything from there. So the headers would be all of the junk at the top like the date, from email address, to email address, etc.
And thanks for the props, Clydenora. I do try to stay on top of things (especially sneaky merchants), but it can get a little overwhelming sometimes. Especially when we have an offer where we are paying out a lot of money for and the merchant doesn't come through on their end. Everyone involved gets a little cranky (especially MEEEE!!).

My computer knowledge is not so great...that being said...how do I forward that to you? Is there an email address to send it to? Thanks for your help!

Hi Tricia :wave2:
Is mine one of the 3 you are counting as not crediting? I signed up on Fri. Apr. 27. I got an order number & confirmation screen after I signed up, but never got a confirmation email--I wonder if it actually went through or if I should try it again?
Thanks!
