Can I take food in the stadiums?

I am trying to plan our day Sunday, May 6 and it seems that with having to get to the stadiums 30 min. early, we will have to eat on the run. Can we purchase burgers. etc and take them in the stadium to eat while we wait? Also, are they strict about bringing in water from home?

yes. You can buy food( hotdogs, nacho, soda and beer) just outside the stadium. They tend to come round with drinks and ice creams for sale( as well as towles and shaum teddies!). I have taken my own in before- no probelm with that! :-)
