My family and I are goingto be staying in Feb 08 in a one bedroom at SSR. I am also making a reservation for friends, in their name for a studio at OKW- because that is where they want to stay (of course it will be SSR if OKW isn't Available) Anyway My family of 4 want to have the dining plan forour 1 bedroom- and the other family does not- will this be possible? I think and hope that it will be since there will be 2 seperate reservations! Any Ideas?! Thanks!

I would have said you can definitely do what you suggested i.e. your family can be on the DP and the other family can opt out as there are 2 separate reservations. However, another poster (thread title 'Can guests use DDP?') has been told that even though they have 2 separate rooms reserved all guests must be on the Dining Plan. It's odd. I wonder is it a mistake.

I just called about that today & was told that if we had the DDP, the other reservation that I had made (for my parents that are staying in a studio) had to get the DDP too.
This is what I wanted, so it was ok, but I would be interested to see if you are told something else :confused3

If they are two seperate reservations and not linked, I can't see why you couldn't do that. If they are linked, then everyone would need to do teh same thing.
