Does anyone know if there is a shuttle service from any WDW resort or any other WDW location available to get back and forth to Universal? Sorry if this has been asked before.

if the search mode button worked correctly you could pull up many threads on the transportation issues.
did you check out the sticky above? it has some info in it i believe.
ways to UO from disney
1. car rental
2. town car service
3. taxi/cabs
4. Mears shuttle
5. #50 lynx bus to sw, transfer to another and walk a few blocks from drop off
if you rent a car, you have the cost of rental and garage parking.
if you use town service, depending on which company you use, could be $35/50
advantage is you determine time pick ups.
taxi, good way but go when it is not rush hour. mileage and time count on the meter.
mears, call the night before to reserve a seat. it is $14 pp round trip. you are picked up at your disney hotel and dropped off at UO.
mears schedule is limited. i believe they have 2 morning and 2 evening times for pick up and drop offs.
the bus is $1.50 but it will take you over 1.5 hours to commute one way.
cheap but not worth the aggravation

Right, search brings up stuff from 2 years ago and doesn't sort by date.
Here's a thread from a few months ago with some good info at the bottom.
It all depends on how many are going as to what the best deal is.

robvia......i can't search back further than the 8 pages listed. thought we had this transportation in a stickie.
we get asked a lot about disney/universal transportation. looks like 2 of the threads i posted before no longer exist or i just can't pull them up.

Thanks for the info! Since you are the "resident expert";) would you mind answering another question that I have? We are planning on going to Universal for two days, should we avoid the weekend? We're going 11/25-12/6 so we're pretty flexible.

first let me say i am not the resident expert. many other posters here have the same knowledge and more than i do.
i have been going to disney since 1974.
i discovered the darkside/universal in 1993 and got hooked!!
i now go annually and sometimes twice each year since then.
i give information out based on what i have used. yea, i did the stupid bus before with 3 sons and it was a waste of time for us. it was cheap, but took away from park time.
looking at the calender, nov 25 is a sunday and right after the T day holiday.
i would avoid going on the weekend and stay with the weekdays for universal. if this is your first time for both parks, you will have less crowds on weekdays. you will have more local residents going on weekends at any time of the year. especially in december as the weather is not hot and humid.
crowds are not bad the first week of december at universal
hope you have a great time.
let us know how it goes for you.
