I just made it to Loews Gold status!

Has anyone had success in upgrading to a suite *if available* for the extra $35 charge?

I never try for an upgrade comp'd, but will try for one for the extra charge.

I tried to get the $35.00 upgrade this week. We were told they were at 100% occ. I believe it, it was packed on the 2nd when we checked in.I think if we had asked yesterday or today it wouldn't have been a problem. I'm also glad that we didn't get it since my DH had to fly to Boston for a family emergency on the first day we were there, so it would have been a waste.

Was the upgrade available on Weekdays and not Weekends?

I'm going in 2 weeks ane hoping for the upgrade!

I don't think it's that it's available one or the other but it was at 100% when we checked in so there weren't any extra rooms available to upgrade you to. You probably have a better chance during the week because occupancy is generally higher on the weekends. Good luck!
