Anyone with experience with early entry to Toon Town Morning Madness? It comes with our package and I am wondering how it works. Do they let you in early to the park? And if so how do I find out what time that will be? I am used to WDW and "power touring" in a fairly set pattern. I am taking my new DH and DS7 to DL for the first time and am wondering A) if my DS7 will enjoy T.T.M.M. and if it is worth deviating from my intended touring plan? Thanks and pixie dust!

Toon town opens one hour after park opening - so you do not need to be in the park early for toon town morning madness (since "early entry" to toontown would be when the park opens). If you go to the disneyland website

http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/reserve/detail?name=MtmmWhyBuyOnlineDetailPage

it will show you a little video clip of what it is like. My kids enjoy it, but they are 3 and 5. The video might help you decide if your DS would be into it. It is also a great way to see the characters - again, if that interests your DS.

TTMM is offered on Mon, Wed, Fri and Saturdays. Toon town normally opens one hour after the park. They will allow those with passes to TTMM into toontown at opening time. The characters will be out for photos and autographs. During that time there are a couple cm's looking for a special family that will be part of the ceremony. Then they will pull the characters to get them ready for the ceremony.

They have a little parade through toon town, then a silly ceremony. Everyone is delcared honorary citizens of toontown. After the ceremony there will be time for more photos /autographs. The couple rides in the area will be open during the entire event.

It really is a quick way to get through toon town.

Unfortunately, no. It is one of the "perks" to booking a package through disney or a package from some other sites.

The video helped me understand more of what TTMM is like. I will show it to my DH and see if he can help me decide... Choices choices... TTMM or shorter morning lines for the e tickets? UGH! Why can;t we just BE THERE AREADY? 51 days and counting!

If you are going to want to go to Mickey and Minnies houses to meet them and see cartoon spin, I recomend taking the time to go to TTMM. Even if you dont stay for the entire ceremony and all that, its worth using the voucher just to get in there and get those things done. You can easily waste more then an hour just waiting to see M and M and ride cartoon spin during other times of the day. And, if you do toontown in the afternoon, it will be HOT back there.

Thanks for the info about the TTMM. My package comes with the early entry also and I was wondering what it was all about? Thanks for the tips!
Can anyone tell me, is EE into Fantasyland the same type of thing?

Kind of, but not really. If you have EE into Fantasyland you will be allowed into the park an hour before the park opens - and most of the Fantasyland rides will be up and running. Usually no characters, and there is not a ceremony or anything like there is at toon town. Not sure if that really answered the question - :confused3

I went last Wed w/ my 8 and 10yo. They got into it. And the characters were plentiful and they're wasn't tons of people.

Something I learned ... When were were there, the park opened at 9am. Monday we went into Fantasyland on Early Admission just after 8am. TTMM was at 9, with Toontown opening to everybody at 10. At 9, Fantasyland was EMPTY. Most people there early moved over to TT, and the regular admission folks hadn't arrived yet. We rode dumbo (each in our OWN elephant) with NO wait and empty cars on our ride. We just walked from ride to ride ... even Peter Pan only had a posted 5 minute wait! It was great ...

Then ... we used our monring madness tix on Wed! It worked out very well.

Quick question, on the days TTMM and EE is offered at the same time, does TTMM open at the same time as the EE time, or is it the normal park opening time?

TIA! :goodvibes

TT opens an hour after the partk and TTMM opens at park opening... even on early entry days. So if you EE at 8:00, TTMM is at 9:00 and regular TT opening is at 10:00

It must start at least a tiny bit after opening, though, to allow people time to get to TT... LOL

Yes ... when were were there the actual TTMM show started at about 9:10.

Last week, the show started at 9:15 or maybe even a couple of minutes after that. We had time to stop at an empty Mr. Toad's enroute and rode Roger Rabbit's cartoon spin prior to the ceremony.

Oh good, that is what I was planning on. Phew, that means I don't have to rearrange my plans. lol Thank you for your help. :)

No - the TTMM is only good with special vouchers given in packages. You will get regular EE everyday it is offered though with your room charge slip.
