Character Meals

On our last trip to UO we had one of our favorite ever character meals with Spiderman and Thing1/Thing2. I haven't been able to find the information again about this meal. Do they still have it? Anyone have the contact info and know how far in advance I can reserve? Are there any other character meals available at UO/IOA? We are staying at HRH in late sept/early oct.

Spidey/ thing 1 & 2 are at Confisco's Grill in Port of Entry in IOA. it's a breakfast buffet, and i believe they serve Thurs.-Sunday..... the hotels have character dinners, but i've never been..... i think you can call Confisco's a week in advance and make res and they will ask to "hold" on credit card.

Any idea what the character meals are at the hotels? I've heard Scooby Doo mentioned....are there others and what hotels offer them? Any at HRH?

I'm also looking for the phone numbers and the how far in advance I can call..

no.....anyone can go. it's usually best to contact hotel directly to see what their schedules are (who is where on what nite)

You can now book the Spidey breakfast up to 3-4 months in advance. I actually booked a breakfast there for July, which ended up being a couple of weeks before i was able to book any Disney ADRs. It's runnings Thurs-Sun this spring/summer. When I called, the woman that helped me told me it fills up extremely fast, and they do require a credit card deposit to avoid last minute cancellations, so call as soon as possible!

I don't know much about the character dinners, but from what I've heard, each of the hotels hosts about 2 per week in any one of their restaurants and changes on a week-to-week basis. Maybe just call the hotels directly and see if they have any info available yet for when you'll be there??

We did the character meal at RPR/Islands Diningroom in Dec 2005. It was great
If I remember correctly the characters were Scooby Doo and Shrek
At RPR the character dining is Mon and Tue, however they also have things going on the other nights too.
One night was face painting, balloon animals etc. The have a magician on another night.
