I saw a bunch of DIS Con'ers by the dole whip stand on Dec 1st! who were you???

Hi everyone!!!

I was standing at the dolewhip counter in Adventureland on Saturday dec 1st, early afternoon, when I saw a group of DIS'ers on the keys to the kingdom tour!!! I know some of you saw me, I had on a pooh backpack w/lime green ribbons! I have blonde hair, and was w/my dh. who were you?????????????

I am soooooooo hoping to come to the 2002 DIS Con!! I couldnt participate this year, as we changed our dates from Oct to Nov/Dec only a few weeks before! and we went home on Sat, Dec 1st anyway, but we do plan on going the same time next year! is Dec 4th - 8th the weekend after thanksgiving????????????

we did Pirates and Aladdin at that time too.

wow!!! thanks for the quick replies!!!

I really really hope I can be at the 2002 Con!!!!!!!! dh and I plan on making it a tradition to spend Thanksgiving at WDW every year! 2 weeks, thanksgiving week andd the following week! as long as we are able to take that time off this year, we will be there for the CON!

Princess Angel - Didn't I bump into you at Epcot World Showcase on the afternoon of November 28th? It was my first day at DIScon and I saw someone with lime green ribbons on their backpack and introduced myself. I think that it was you and your DH. Am I right?

Laura - Yes, it was by France. I was running over to Norway (my first of three trips around the World Showcase that day). Sorry that I didn't stop to talk longer. It was my first day there and I was trying to catch up with my group of solo travelers. It was nice to bump into you. Next time perhaps we can chat a bit longer. :)

My DD, Katelyn (aka CDoobeeJr.), and I were there, too!! I was wearing a tiara, and Katelyn was the cute 10-year old wearing the silver Mickey and red & green tassely dealy-bopper thingies on her head!! LOL

Good luck on the marathon! My sister and I were at WDW last year at this time and saw some of it. I think it would be an awesome place to run a marathon! (If I was into running, that is! :p ) LOL
