How long to wait on banking?

Is there a deadline on when you can call can say you want to bank you points? Also, is there a good place to check what the cancellation policies consist of. I'm a little confused on that. Thanks for the help.

You may bank 100% of your points anytime within 6 months of your use year. 50% may be banked within 9 months and 25% within 10 months.

As long as a reservation is cancelled more than 30 days before, all points are returned to the use year. They are then subject to all normal usage and banking rules.

Cancellations within 30 days will result in points being placed in a holding account- which means that they may be used only for a reservation made within 60 days of arrival date.

Cancellation of a non-DVC reservation follows the same rules- except that those points may only be used for a non-DVC reservation.
