Will the Christmas decorations be up for marathon weekend

Just curious since marathon weekend is later this year. Anyone, have a clue? How about some of you old timers?

I don't know about the OLD part:lmao: :lmao: but by the end of my trip this January the decorations were down. I came home on the 11th, so depending on how soon before marathon weekend you arrive you MIGHT see a few Christmas things, but I wouldn't count on it.

This year we ran on Sunday and all of the decorations were still up, then Monday morning when we went back to the Magic Kingdom they were all down. I would think that with it being a week later there might be less decorations up, if any at all.

Just a guess though, you never know?!?!

I thought I heard from others that when the marathon was moved back, the decorations were still up. What's a few more days. The marathon weekend is a big deal and I think they would still want to show off the decorations. Just my 2 cents worth.

In the past, the decorations usually stay up until the first weekend after the new year. Following that pattern, they wouldn't be up this year since the marathon is the second weekend. This is always likely to change though.
