O.K..

6 nights..5 nice ADRs for my DW and I..

9/16 Coral Reef
9/17 Brown Derby (Fantasmic)
9/18 O'Hana
9/19 Wolfgang Puck Cafe
9/20 Le Cellier

now I need a CS dinner before the MNSSHP..I heard Cosmic Rays and Harbour House..are they my best choices? I know Pecos Bill will be a lunch..:woohoo:

It's been a while since I've been to Cosmic Ray's. We never seem to be over that way at lunchtime. I love both Pecos Bill and CHH! It depends on your tastes at the time. Pecos Bill is great for burgers. If you want something lighter, the sandwiches at CHH are great.

There is one other option. I've heard a lot of good things about Pinocchio Village Haus. I've never eaten there, but it gets so many rave reviews. I'm definitely going to try it next time I go.

For the last two years, we ate at Cosmic Rays before the party. We like it because there is large selection of different foods and there is plenty of tables.

If you are planning to eat at Cosmic Ray's before the party (and you want variety), make sure you eat BEFORE THE PARTY STARTS.

We ran into this last year - once the party started (we had entered the park at 4pm and done any of the rides that weren't going to be open during the party so by the time we got to eat it was just 7pm) Cosmic Ray's switched to a "Special party menu" with only 3-4 choices - hamburgers, chicken fingers, etc.

No chicken and ribs, no soup, very limited.

Nothing beats the Harbour House half a tuna sandwhich and a bowl of clam chowder. Yum! we liked it so much on the last trip we ate there 3 times out of 7 days.

We've also had problems at Cosmic Rays closing all but burgers for dinner. We LOVE Columbia Harbor House. Sit upstairs if open, so nice and roomy, has a great bathroom upstairs too.

It looks like we will be at the same MNSSHP.......:thumbsup2 . When we went the year before last, we got into the park as early as we could (I think it was 4:00ish) and we hit Casey's. I don't love-love hot dogs, but we had also had a large, late breakfast that day. We didn't want to waste any early party time eating, since that is the time to ride the rides.
