We are Disneymooners at POFQ in September!!! From Fri the 14 through Sun the 23. Will YOU be there??? Would you like to help ME create a little "Disney magic"?
My request is an odd one, but it got me thinking...since this IS the Year of a Million Dreams, what could my DF possibly dream of in terms of Disney dreams coming true? Besides not spending a bunch of money there, of course! How can I make this trip, his first REAL experience at WDW, SPECIAL???? Then it occurred to me:
I had a spectacular experience last year when my DF proposed at the Magic Kingdom (click the link in my signature to read about it!). While I am not in the business of advertising MYSELF in any way, it would totally make my DF's day if he knew that the story of the proposal was SOMEHOW GETTING AROUND....
So! If you're feeling like it, keep an eye out for a young lovesick couple with wedding ears, and if you see them, introduce yourselves and ask if we're "the ones with the cool Disney proposal story at the Magic Kingdom with the parade and barbershop quartet, etc." If it's not us, all you'll get is a puzzled look and "Excuse me?" or "No sorry." But if it IS us, we will say, "WHAT?! How did you hear?!?!?!" And you can say, "A little mouse told us named Mickey!" or something equally cutesy.
It will totally make my DF's day!! I'm trying to convince him that WDW is a magical place where anything is possible and it would totally blow his mind. I can hear it now: "How did they KNOW?? Who told them?? That is SO cool!!"
And I will smile to myself and thank you. :rolleyes: So if you want to help make some "Disney magic," look for us!:yay:
